PERAN KOPERASI PEGAWAI “AL – KAUTSAR” TERHADAP PERILAKU KONSUMEN DI UIN SUNAN AMPEL SURABAYA

This research aims to determine the role of the Al – Kautsar Employee Cooperative on consumer behavior at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This research uses a qualitative research method by induction, namely capturing various facts or social phenomena through observations in the field. This research uses qualitative with a descriptive approach in the form of words, images and not numbers. This research uses primary and secondary data as analysis and conducts participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the research show that the Al-Kautsar cooperative cooperative has an important role for all employees at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya in creating prosperity for all cooperative members, where all members can feel prosperous in the existence of the Al-Kautsar cooperative. The existence of the Al Kautsar cooperative makes it easier for employees to carry out savings and loan activities without interest and affordable admin fees. The Al-Kautsar Cooperative experienced several obstacles, namely the large number of competitors, the existence of cooperative employees who were less competent, and problems with employee salaries. The solution taken by the cooperative is to improve service quality, employee training, and payment of employee salaries according to the agreement. The Al-Kautsar Cooperative has a very important role in providing welfare for all cooperative members where the cooperative uses a profit sharing system in its operations.
